I am sitting at my desk thinking about what this year has been to me. A lot has changed and a lot has stayed the same. I feel like the year came and went in the blink of an eye. At the beginning of the year my husband and I decided we would see a reproductive endocrinologist to help us conceive. We saved up our pennies and at the end of April we anxiously waited to get our positive result. We were ecstatic our treatment worked on the first try. At the end of May we lost the baby. My husband and I had a hard time with that but we learned so much from this experience. I learned to rely on God and I became so grateful to even get a taste of motherhood. My faith has grown so much and along with that my happiness. I am beyond grateful for the year I have had. I pray that my faith continues to strengthen and fortify me. My goals for the coming year are to continue to work on my spirituality and become deeply rooted, work smarter not harder, put out more content on my social media platforms, grow in my investments, take better care of my health. The list goes on. The thing about goals is that they won’t get done unless we put in the work. It’s not going to be rainbows and butterflies everyday so as long as we are persistent and patient we can get a lot done. Enough about me. How was your year and what are some of your goals for 2020?
